Job Title: Patient Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing assistance with scheduling, inquiries, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal timing and effective communication with healthcare providers.
- Gather and verify patients' medical history and insurance information, updating records as necessary.
- Address patient concerns and facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff.
- Assist patients with navigating insurance requirements and education related to their care plans.
- Ensure that all patient information is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations. <li>Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout all patient interactions.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a patient-facing role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and exemplify professionalism in all interactions.
