Job Description
- Job Description This role owns the day-to-day payroll process and ensures all employees are paid accurately and on time. The Payroll Specialist works closely with HR and Finance to maintain clean, compliant, and consistent payroll operations while supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries. Responsibilities • Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule • Review and validate timesheets, wages, bonuses, and deductions • Ensure correct calculation of taxes, withholdings, and other payroll deductions • Maintain payroll records and update employee data in payroll systems • Partner with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes • Reconcile payroll reports and quickly resolve discrepancies • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues promptly • Support audits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations • Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and direct deposits • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation **Skills & Qualifications ** • 1–3 years of payroll processing experience • Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and tax withholdings • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms • High attention to detail with proven accuracy under deadlines • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote
