Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Approximately 20–25 Hours Per Week
Core Hours: Generally, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday (weekends as needed)
Reports To: Director of People Operations
Career Level: Senior Individual Contributor
Compensation: $27.00 – $30.00 USD per hour DOE

Position Summary

The People Operations Partner serves as a senior individual contributor within the People Operations function and works closely with the Director of People Operations on employee relations matters, workforce planning, compliance initiatives, project launches, policy administration, organizational communications, operational readiness, and business initiatives.

This role is designed for someone who is not only technically capable, but who consistently demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to doing what is right—even when situations are difficult, complex, or unpopular.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the Director of People Operations and collaborate closely on employee relations, workforce strategy, project launches, compliance initiatives, policy administration, organizational communications, and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct investigations, fact-finding, and documentation reviews.
  • Review policies, procedures, corrective actions, and workforce communications.
  • Assist with compliance reviews, audits, and organizational initiatives.
  • Identify potential employee relations, hiring, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Participate in project launches and workforce readiness planning.
  • Partner with recruiting teams on workforce planning and hiring initiatives.
  • Assist with policy development and organizational communications.
  • Support leadership discussions and organizational planning.
  • Provide recommendations and workforce-related insights.
  • Serve as a trusted People Operations resource across the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, Compliance, Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition, or related experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Experience supporting leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business writing and communication skills.
  • Experience assessing workplace, compliance, or operational risks.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting multinational workforces.
  • Experience supporting project launches and organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience working in high-growth organizations.
