Job Description

*Applications and CVs/resumes MUST be submitted in English to be considered*

This is a 3-month freelance engagement, working 40 hours per week, and is fully remote within Brazil, looking to start within 2 weeks.

We are not looking for a vibe coder.

We are seeking an experienced PixiJS Game Developer to take ownership of the technical quality, architecture, and performance of our browser-based games. This role is ideal for an engineer who has spent several years building and shipping game products with PixiJS and understands the realities of delivering maintainable, scalable, production-ready code.

You will work on existing titles, improving and extending games that have been rapidly developed through modern AI-assisted workflows and prototyping processes. You will implement gameplay features, UI systems, animations, audio, and game mechanics while ensuring a consistent player experience across desktop and mobile devices. You will also be responsible for identifying technical debt, improving code quality, and establishing best practices that support long-term development and maintenance.

This is not a role for a vibe coder - we need a developer with a proven track record of building, optimising, and shipping commercial games using PixiJS in a professional environment prior to the use of AI in coding.
