Principal Product Manager - Platform
Seeq • United States
Posted: April 28, 2026
Job Description
The industrial sector generates more data than almost any other, and Seeq is on a mission to help customers use it all to make better decisions. We're the market leader in advanced analytics for process manufacturing, helping the world's largest companies in pharma, energy, chemicals, and more turn massive streams of time-series data into real operational impact. We're approaching $100M ARR, recognized as a Leader by industry analysts, and are accelerating our AI-first product strategy to redefine what Decision Intelligence means for industry.
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. Someone who can take an ambiguous problem space, apply rigorous thinking, and build outcome-based roadmaps that move our business forward. You'll own a significant product area within a platform used by some of the biggest enterprises on the planet, and you'll do it in a culture that values data over opinions, speed over perfection, and impact over activity.
This is not a feature factory. You will be expected to make hard tradeoffs, say no as much as you say yes, and ground every bet in evidence. If you get energy from designing for AI, using AI to accelerate your own ways of working, and operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role is for you.
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Seeq's customer-facing platform capabilities, defining the go-forward narrative for how Seeq meets our customers' needs at enterprise scale. Set outcome-based priorities & make tradeoffs that align with our business objectives. Communicate a compelling "why" behind every roadmap decision.
- Champion enterprise readiness. Craft roadmap plans that communicate and deliver on enterprise readiness, balancing easy-to-configure, easy-to-maintain controls with comprehensive guardrails. Identify and prioritize capabilities that address the governance, compliance, and tenant administration needs of large enterprise customers.
- Be the voice of the enterprise buyer. Engage directly with CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, and tenant administrators at high-value customers to understand their governance, security, and operational requirements. Partner with field teams to validate platform capabilities and represent Seeq's enterprise direction.
- Raise the bar on platform quality. Partner with design & engineering to deliver platform capabilities that are secure, scalable, and operationally sound. Champion reliability, performance, and the admin experience, ensuring the platform earns & retains the trust of our enterprise customers.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, that includes time delivering platform, infrastructure, or data products serving enterprise teams and their administrators.
- Experience with enterprise platform concerns is highly valued, including: multi-tenancy, user & role management, data connectors & integrations, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure). Process manufacturing or industrial software domain knowledge is a plus but not required; we value sharp product thinkers who learn domains fast.
- Demonstrated experience building & communicating outcome-based roadmaps; you can articulate the "so what" of every initiative.
- Fluency in using data to drive decisions: defining metrics, running experiments, analyzing usage, and course correcting based on evidence.
- AI literacy: practical experience designing AI-powered product experiences, as well as integrating AI into your own PM workflows.
- Track record of operating successfully in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments; startups, scale-ups, or "zero to one" product areas within larger orgs.
- Strong strategic thinking: ability to connect customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business goals into a coherent point of view on where to invest.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you can align a room of engineers, executives, and customers with equal clarity.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in process manufacturing, industrial software, or data analytics is a plus, but not required; we value sharp product thinkers who learn domains fast.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, conferences, and team events.
