Job Description
  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner based in United States. This role sits within a product management team and serves as the business voice for systems and applications supporting a global Systems Integration organization. You will help shape the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for business-critical applications while ensuring delivery teams focus on the highest-value priorities. A major focus will be supporting a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployment, translating operational needs into practical requirements and scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, architects, analysts, implementation partners, IT teams, and end users throughout design, testing, and deployment. The position combines strategic product ownership with hands-on Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement. You will have a direct impact on adoption, data quality, operational efficiency, and user experience across multiple business functions and regions. The role offers an opportunity to influence technology-enabled transformation in a collaborative, complex, and globally connected environment.
  • Accountabilities: Serve as a core member of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation team, representing Systems Integration business needs and supporting project leads throughout the implementation lifecycle. Participate in fit-gap and solution design workshops, contributing process expertise and helping determine where standard platform functionality can meet business requirements. Review existing customizations, document business justification, and recommend which solutions should be retained, modified, migrated, or retired. Capture and refine requirements, process flows, data requirements, epics, features, and user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria. Support data migration and cutover activities by defining requirements and validating migrated business data. Plan and support user acceptance testing, including test scenarios, business tester coordination, defect tracking, and validation of completed work. Support change management and training activities through product demonstrations, training materials, and knowledge transfer. Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for application initiatives outside the Dynamics 365 program, including custom applications, integrations, automations, and reporting. Continuously gather feedback from operational teams and use adoption, cycle time, data quality, and user satisfaction metrics to guide priorities. Maintain and prioritize the backlog while balancing new functionality, enhancements, technical debt, defects, dependencies, and business value. Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while providing timely decisions to delivery teams. Review completed work against acceptance criteria and approve or reject functionality before it is considered complete. Coordinate release planning, testing, and deployment with Program Management and IT teams, managing scope changes through established change-control processes. Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, facilitating alignment across departments and global regions and escalating unresolved conflicts when necessary. Communicate roadmap progress, risks, decisions, and priorities clearly to business leaders, steering committees, and delivery teams. Prepare and deliver demonstrations of new functionality and travel to regional offices when needed to engage directly with stakeholders and end users. Support additional product or transformation initiatives as required. Requirements: 1–2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or functional lead on ERP, CRM, or business application projects. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly Project Operations, Finance & Supply Chain Management, Customer Engagement, or a comparable ERP platform. Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, user story development, and acceptance criteria. Understanding of project-based business processes such as quote-to-cash, project delivery, resource scheduling, procurement, and project accounting. Experience working with systems integrators or implementation partners across design, development, testing, deployment, and go-live phases. Experience planning and leading user acceptance testing and supporting go-live and hypercare activities. Strong ability to create alignment across departments and make clear, timely prioritization decisions. Strategic thinking, structured problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives with changing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to navigate conflicts constructively and maintain effective relationships across different organizational levels and regions. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio, as well as backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira. Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting applicable driving standards. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, is preferred. CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar certifications are advantageous. Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as integrations with platforms such as ServiceNow and SharePoint, is a plus. Experience in audiovisual/system integration, project-based services, global ERP rollouts, multi-entity or multi-currency environments, complex matrix organizations, or organizational change management is beneficial. Benefits: Base salary of $85,000–$110,000, depending on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Medical benefits, including dental and vision coverage. Paid holidays, sick days, and personal days. Training and professional development opportunities. Dynamic and collaborative work environment. Opportunities to contribute to global technology transformation initiatives. Work hours and location may vary based on business and client requirements, with travel to regional locations as needed.
