Job Description
As a Project Manager specializing in Agile Testing for Data projects within the Banking Industry, you will oversee and coordinate testing initiatives to ensure the quality and integrity of data-driven solutions. You will work closely with Agile teams, stakeholders, and testing professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced banking environment.
- Manage end-to-end Agile testing projects related to data management, data quality, and data migration within banking systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate the execution of test cases, monitor testing progress, and track defects to resolution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos with a focus on testing activities.
- Identify potential risks and blockers related to testing and work with teams to mitigate them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulatory standards and data governance policies throughout testing processes.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding testing status and quality metrics.
- 5+ years of project management experience in Agile environments, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing principles, especially related to data.
- Experience managing data-related testing projects, including data quality, data migration, or data integration.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and data governance frameworks is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Agile project management and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, TestRail).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or ISTQB certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
