Job Description
Job Summary
We're looking for a hybrid Recruiting Coordinator & Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month contract basis. This role blends the logistical backbone of recruiting coordination with the proactive candidate generation of sourcing — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, moves fast, and enjoys both the people side and the process side of hiring. You'll support a high-volume hiring period, keep interview pipelines running smoothly, and help build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across open roles.
Job Responsibilities
Sourcing (~50%)
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, and other sourcing channels
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated openings across [functions, e.g., Engineering, Sales, G&A]
- Write and send personalized outreach messages that generate strong response rates
- Screen inbound applicants and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications and interest
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and market landscape
- Track sourcing metrics (response rates, pipeline conversion) and adjust strategy based on results
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby)
Coordination (~50%)
- Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones and calendars, including phone screens, panel interviews, and onsite/virtual loops
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Manage interview logistics: booking rooms/video links, preparing interview kits, coordinating travel if needed
- Post and manage job requisitions across job boards and internal systems
- Support offer processes: drafting offer letters, coordinating background checks and reference checks
- Maintain data integrity in the ATS and generate recruiting reports/metrics as needed
- Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives as needed
Job Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, sourcing, or a related HR/Talent Acquisition role
- Experience with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, or similar)
- Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, GitHub, X-ray searches, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable representing the company to external candidates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — able to juggle multiple calendars, roles, and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Discretion in handling confidential candidate and business information
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in creating a great candidate experience
Nice to Have
- Prior experience supporting technical or high-volume hiring
- Experience with recruiting CRM tools (Gem, SmartRecruiters, etc.)
- Familiarity with employer branding or recruitment marketing
