We are looking for a hands-on Revenue Operations Manager to build and scale the revenue infrastructure for a new Home & Auto insurance business unit from the ground up. In this role, you will own the design and implementation of CRM systems, sales processes, reporting frameworks, and operational workflows that support customer acquisition and retention. You will serve as the primary owner of HubSpot, developing scalable system architecture, automations, integrations, and data governance practices. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations, you will transform evolving business needs into practical processes and actionable insights. You will also establish reliable performance metrics, improve visibility across the customer lifecycle, and ensure that system changes are adopted effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive builder who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and enjoys creating structure, driving operational excellence, and influencing business growth.
- Accountabilities Revenue systems ownership: Administer, maintain, and continuously improve HubSpot CRM, including objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, automations, permissions, validation rules, and reporting. CRM architecture and data governance: Establish scalable CRM standards covering naming conventions, property design, object associations, required fields, lifecycle stages, data quality, and duplicate record management. System administration and support: Manage user access, permissions, provisioning, and system governance. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with vendors and technical partners. Customer lifecycle optimization: Design and improve lead routing, pipeline stages, lifecycle definitions, customer handoffs, and data governance processes to create a consistent and efficient customer journey. Workflow automation and integrations: Build automations that reduce manual work and improve operational consistency. Manage integrations and data flows between HubSpot, Five9, Front, and other business systems. Reporting and business intelligence: Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline performance, conversion rates, retention, productivity, and customer activity. Forecasting and operational planning: Support forecasting, business planning, territory analysis, customer segmentation, capacity planning, and compensation analysis through reliable data and reporting. Data-driven decision-making: Partner with functional leaders to define key performance indicators, improve data confidence, identify emerging trends and risks, and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations. Cross-functional requirements gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend approaches that balance business impact, technical feasibility, and operational effort. Change management and implementation: Plan, test, document, and launch system updates with clear communication and appropriate change-management support. Monitor adoption and outcomes, then refine solutions based on user feedback and business performance. Documentation and training: Create and maintain process documentation, system guides, and training materials that help teams adopt consistent workflows and use systems effectively. Continuous improvement: Identify friction across revenue operations, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and deliver scalable improvements that support the new business unit and the wider revenue organization. Requirements Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, CRM administration, Business Systems, Sales Operations, or a related field. HubSpot expertise: Strong hands-on experience administering HubSpot CRM in a growing or complex organization. CRM systems and automation: Demonstrated experience designing and managing CRM workflows, automations, integrations, user permissions, reporting, and data governance practices. Analytical and troubleshooting skills: Strong ability to investigate system issues, analyze data, identify process inefficiencies, and develop practical solutions. Project and change management: Experience gathering business requirements, testing system changes, managing releases, documenting technical processes, and supporting implementation and adoption. Reporting and spreadsheet proficiency: Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, including the ability to transform incomplete or inconsistent data into clear, actionable insights. Technical communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and system changes to non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration and influence: Ability to build productive relationships across teams, influence stakeholders without relying on formal authority, and work effectively in a collaborative environment. Attention to detail: High standards for data quality, accuracy, documentation, and system reliability. Practical mindset: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a willingness to take ownership, move quickly, and build processes where established structures may not yet exist. Nice-to-have qualifications: Knowledge of or experience in the insurance industry. Experience supporting Five9, Front, Confluence, and Jira. HubSpot Administrator certification or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, APIs, webhooks, JSON, or workflow automation. Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience in CRM release management, integration monitoring, or business systems support. Benefits Competitive compensation: Total target cash compensation of CAD $110,000–$150,000, depending on experience. Generous paid time off: 20 vacation days. Comprehensive benefits: A comprehensive benefits plan with premiums fully paid by the employer. Professional development: Dedicated learning and development budget, ongoing feedback, and performance reviews twice a year to support career growth. AI tools budget: Dedicated budget for AI tools to support productivity and innovation. Remote-first flexibility: Option to work from home or from a Toronto-based office.
