Job Description
Job Title: Sales Account Manager
Working Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Scheme: 100% remote within Europe, preferably based in one of the following countries: Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Germany, the Netherlands, or Belgium.
Job Scope
The role of Sales Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategy and tactics for related product or service lines to achieve sales and profit goals in their designated geographic territory. The SAM is expected to use their knowledge of the business and external contacts to expand and deliver profitable initiatives to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics for products/services, new markets, and new applications.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to ensure all possible actions are taken to secure business in competitive situations.
- Share market knowledge and customer feedback with Senior Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Use CRM to record and manage Sales pipelines daily;
- Develop and maintain a relationship with key accounts.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related Life Sciences field, with hands-on laboratory experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and a high level of professional expertise within the life sciences industry.
- Previous sales and/or business development experience within the life sciences, biotechnology, or CRO sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of the biological research and CRO market; experience with one or more of the following product/service areas is highly desirable: Gene Synthesis, Proteins, Peptides, Antibodies, and Cell Line Development Services.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal (French proficiency at C1 level or above).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and multicultural business environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required.
