Job Description

Why Faculty?

We established Faculty in 2014 because we thought that AI would be the most important technology of our time. Since then, we’ve worked with over 350 global customers to transform their performance through human-centric AI. You can read about our real-world impact here.

We don’t chase hype cycles. We innovate, build and deploy responsible AI which moves the needle - and we know a thing or two about doing it well. We bring an unparalleled depth of technical, product and delivery expertise to our clients who span government, finance, retail, energy, life sciences and defence.

Our business, and reputation, is growing fast and we’re always on the lookout for individuals who share our intellectual curiosity and desire to build a positive legacy through technology.

AI is an epoch-defining technology, join a company where you’ll be empowered to envision its most powerful applications, and to make them happen.

About the role

As a Sales Director at Faculty, you will lead the sale of large-scale strategic AI engagements, building trusted C-suite relationships and establishing Faculty as the essential partner for the world's largest companies pursuing transformative AI initiatives.

You will drive high-impact growth by navigating complex sales cycles, collaborating closely with key strategic partners like Accenture, and shaping bold, differentiated commercial solutions that empower Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 organisations to harness the full power of artificial intelligence.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and managing a qualified pipeline of high-value strategic opportunities directly across target enterprises and joint Accenture partnership channels.

  • Leading end-to-end sales processes from initial executive engagement through to contract signature, orchestrating technical scoping, solution design, commercial negotiations, procurement, and legal reviews.

  • Developing enduring executive relationships with C-suite sponsors at global enterprise accounts, positioning Faculty as their premier partner for transformative AI initiatives.

  • Collaborating with Accenture leadership to identify joint pursuit opportunities, align go-to-market strategies, and coordinate enterprise deal execution.

  • Achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining rigorous forecasting discipline and providing leadership with clear visibility into pipeline health.

  • Partnering with cross-functional technical and delivery teams to shape compelling, credible propositions that solve complex organisational challenges.

Who we're looking for

  • You bring a proven track record of enterprise sales leadership, successfully closing complex, multi-quarter strategic engagements with Fortune 500 or FTSE 100 companies.

  • You excel at C-suite engagement, building trusted relationships with senior executives such as CTOs, CSOs, and CISOs who sponsor enterprise-wide AI and safety initiatives.

  • You possess strong technical sales acumen, comfortably translating complex AI concepts into clear business value while engaging fluently with both technical teams and commercial decision-makers.

  • You bring valuable partnership sales experience, adept at collaborating with consulting firms, systems integrators, and hyper-scalers to co-sell and win major accounts.

  • You master deal orchestration and commercial structuring, with expertise in guiding multi-stakeholder work streams and negotiating sophisticated agreements like MSAs and outcome-based pricing models.

  • You demonstrate exceptional executive presence and resilience, presenting confidently to boards and C-suites while maintaining energy and momentum through complex, high-stakes sales cycles.

The Interview Process

  1. Talent Team Screen (30 mins)

  2. Introduction call with the Hiring Manager (30 mins)

  3. On site Panel Interview (60mins)

  4. Final interview with one of our Managing Directors (30mins)

Our Recruitment Ethos

We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. We know that diversity of individuals fosters diversity of thought, and that strengthens our principle of seeking truth. And we know from experience that diverse teams deliver better work, relevant to the world in which we live. We’re united by a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to use our abilities for measurable positive impact. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, religions and sexual orientations.

If you don’t feel you meet all the requirements, but are excited by the role and know you bring some key strengths, please don't hesitate in applying as you might be right for this role, or other roles. We are open to conversations about part-time hours.

A note on AI: we're happy for you to use it for research and interview prep, but please don't use it to generate answers during live interviews. We also use an AI note-taker (Metaview) in interviews so interviewers can stay present (which you can opt out of just let us know,) and every application is reviewed by a human, never decided by AI.
