  • Amazon Healthcare Security's (HealthSec) team is hiring a Security Engineer II to protect Amazon One Medical's network infrastructure. As a team lead you will assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate security controls into rapidly evolving operational systems. Working closely with security engineers and product teams, you will safeguard the networks, devices, and workflows that power Amazon's healthcare operations. Key job responsibilities Lead security investigations in partnership with other organizations Act as team Lead and provide operational guidance to your peers Conduct security reviews of network architecture, automation tools, and infrastructure Perform risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities in workflows Implement security best practices including network security, identity management, and secure system deployment Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security controls Support security incident investigations related to infrastructure Develop and maintain security documentation including, risk assessments, and security guidelines Drive security automation efforts including monitoring and alerting for key security risks Effectively communicate with executives regarding key events and progress on investigations About the team Amazon Security offers talented security professionals the chance to accelerate their careers with opportunities across cloud, devices, retail, entertainment, healthcare, operations, and physical stores. Basic Qualifications
  • - 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP - Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques or equivalent
