Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports
- Maintain general ledger activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Assist with lender reporting, loan portfolio tracking, and financing-related accounting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Experience within financial services, lending, consumer finance, healthcare finance, or loan servicing environments
- Experience with loan accounting, interest income recognition, financing programs, or receivables portfolios
