  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate, Desktop Technician based in United States. This role provides high-level technical support across a global desktop environment, serving more than 400 users in a fast-paced financial services setting. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and infrastructure-related issues across office and remote environments. The position combines hands-on desktop support with broader exposure to servers, storage, networking, telephony, and enterprise IT systems. You will work closely with technology teams and end users to resolve incidents, maintain reliable systems, and improve the day-to-day technology experience. The role requires strong analytical thinking, technical depth, and the ability to manage issues effectively under pressure. You will also contribute to a collaborative and inclusive IT environment supporting users across multiple global offices.
  • Accountabilities: Provide high-level email, desk-side, and telephone technical support to 400+ users in the New York office, five global offices, and remote locations. Set up, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware and peripherals. Install, support, and maintain software applications including Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Citrix, and other financial technology platforms. Provide technical and analytical guidance related to servers, storage, networking, telephony, and other IT systems. Investigate and resolve application issues, technical incidents, and daily job errors in a timely manner. Respond directly to user requests and technical queries while delivering a high standard of customer service. Participate in a rotating schedule for occasional weekend and on-call support. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in technology support within the financial services industry. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure applications and administration. Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy, Citrix administration and support, Intune, and SCCM. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Ability to remain effective under pressure, prioritize competing requests, and work independently when required. Self-motivated, creative, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with users and technology teams. Willingness to comply with the hybrid work policy, currently requiring four days per week in the New York City office and permitting one remote workday.
