Working closely with cross-functional partners—including product leaders, data scientists, and healthcare experts—you will translate complex challenges into impactful technology solutions.   • Accountabilities Lead and grow a high-performing team of machine learning engineers by recruiting, mentoring, and supporting their professional development. Provide strong technical leadership, guiding the design and implementation of scalable AI/ML solutions and engineering architectures. Develop and execute technical roadmaps that align AI/ML initiatives with broader business goals and strategic priorities. Oversee the delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance across systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineering leaders to deliver impactful solutions. Establish ambitious but achievable goals for the team and remove obstacles to ensure successful project execution. Promote engineering excellence by improving development processes, tools, and operational practices. Translate business requirements into clear technical plans while communicating progress and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and experimentation with emerging AI/ML technologies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of experience developing production-grade, scalable software systems in engineering or technical leadership roles. 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management. Strong technical background in machine learning technologies, including at least 7+ years of experience working with ML systems, preferably using Python. Expertise in designing and deploying secure, scalable AI/ML platform architectures and production ML systems. Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration tools, and MLOps practices. Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience aligning teams across engineering, product, and research functions. Familiarity with current AI/ML research trends and the ability to translate new innovations into practical applications. Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering talent and build strong, engaged teams. Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics and insights to guide engineering decisions and prioritize initiatives. Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments is considered a strong advantage.
