• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Flutter Developer based in India. In this role, you will take full technical ownership of designing, building, and deploying high-volume, low-latency mobile applications for mission-critical systems. Operating in a fully remote contract setting, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of designers, testers, and back-end engineers to deliver top-tier mobile experiences across iOS and Android platforms. You will write clean, efficient, and testable code while driving continuous architectural improvements and incorporating emerging technologies into the mobile development lifecycle. From initial ideation and state management to API integrations and app store releases, your work will directly elevate application performance, stability, and end-user engagement. • Accountabilities: End-to-End Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-volume, low-latency mobile applications for mission-critical systems, participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle from concept to release. Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, testable, and efficient Dart code while performing unit testing, edge-case validation, and bug resolution to ensure maximum reliability and performance. Architecture & Continuous Improvement: Research alternative technologies, frameworks, and architecture patterns, presenting proposals for architectural review to support continuous product evolution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with UI/UX designers, QA testers, and back-end developers to define requirements, design intuitive features, and integrate RESTful APIs and external data sources. Release & Deployment Management: Prepare, produce, and manage software component releases, ensuring smooth deployment pipelines to both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Requirements: Flutter & Dart Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in mobile application development using the Flutter framework and Dart programming language, backed by 3+ years of overall software development experience. Published Applications: Demonstrated track record of having published one or more live mobile applications on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Mobile Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with mobile architectures, UI guidelines (Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines), third-party libraries, and API integrations. Agile & Lifecycle Mastery: Solid understanding of the complete mobile development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, state management techniques, and automated building/testing. Preferred Technical Skills: Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS Amplify, GCP), CI/CD practices, secure coding guidelines, and RESTful web services. Soft Skills & Communication: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
