Senior Front End Engineer

Ticketure LLC • New Zealand

Posted: August 20, 2026

Job Description

At Ticketure, we believe cultural organizations deserve technology that’s as inspiring as the experiences they create. That’s why we build modern software for museums, zoos, aquariums, gardens, science centers, performing arts organizations, and other cultural attractions around the world.

Our two platforms help organizations deliver exceptional guest and patron experiences. Ticketure provides mobile-first, API-first ticketing for general admission and timed-entry attractions, while PatronManager is the leading Salesforce-native CRM for the performing arts, helping organizations strengthen patron relationships and fundraising.

No matter your role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that values ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Together, we’re helping cultural organizations connect more people with experiences that inspire, educate, and bring communities together.

Job Summary

More than $1 billion in ticket sales flows through the Ticketure platform. We're looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join our remote New Zealand engineering team, reporting to the Director, Engineering. You'll have the autonomy to make a real impact on our product, our technical direction and how we work.

This is engineering at real-world scale

You'll be working on a production-hardened, multi-tenant ticketing platform where reliability and performance genuinely matter.

And you won't be waiting weeks to see your work make a difference:

  • The code you push can be in front of tens of millions of people that same day

  • Our monorepo CI/CD pipeline runs in around 10 minutes

  • We average more than eight production deployments every business day

That combination of scale and speed means we care about good engineering judgement. We want to move quickly, but we also need to build software we can confidently ship at that scale.

What you'll do

You'll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to shape solutions and take them through to production. You won't always be handed a perfectly defined ticket. We want you to understand and own the problem, ask good questions and help determine the right solution.

Your typical day includes:

  • Building great, accessible customer and staff experiences using TypeScript, Vue and CSS

  • Working with Figma and Storybook to turn designs and shared components into polished product experiences

  • Making pragmatic technical decisions, balancing customer value, quality, maintainability and delivery speed

  • Contributing to our technical standards, patterns and shared LLM skills and rules library

  • Collaborating with engineers and client-facing teams to solve problems for our clients

Because our clients rely on us to sell tickets every day, you'll also be part of keeping the platform running. That means being reachable at short notice, including outside normal hours, when an issue or outage stops clients from selling tickets.

What you bring

You're an experienced Front End Engineer with strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills, ideally with experience in Vue or a similar modern framework.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership and cares about solving the problem, not just completing the ticket

  • Communicates clearly, including in writing. Stand-ups, PR descriptions, Slack and handover notes are how our remote team stays aligned

  • Contributes to maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline and test suites

  • Can navigate ambiguity, ask good questions and make sensible trade-offs

  • Cares about quality without over-engineering

  • Flags risks and complexity early and brings others into decisions

  • Takes responsibility for shared team outcomes

  • Is curious about AI-assisted development and how it can make us better engineers

If you care about building great software and want to join an engineering culture that values pragmatism and customer impact, we'd love to talk.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base annual salary, commensurate with experience

  • Annual discretionary bonus based on performance and company success

  • Incentive equity opportunity

  • 3.5% employer KiwiSaver contribution

  • Home office stipend

  • Annual leave that increases with tenure

  • Paid volunteer leave

  • Working abroad opportunities

  • Learning and development support, including reimbursement for approved educational expenses

  • Flexible working arrangements

Location: This role is primarily performed in a remote work environment with quarterly meet-ups in Wellington
