In this role, you will lead a small, high-performing engineering team while remaining deeply hands-on in building and evolving production-grade applications across the full stack. You will drive both frontend and backend development efforts, shaping scalable architectures and delivering impactful features across core product and data systems. The position blends technical leadership with people management, requiring you to guide delivery, improve engineering practices, and actively contribute to code. You will work across APIs, CRM-related systems, and data ingestion pipelines in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. Collaboration with Product and cross-functional teams will be central to translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. This is a high-ownership role where your decisions directly influence product quality, velocity, and technical direction.
  • Accountabilities: You will lead a small engineering team, ensuring clear execution, delivery discipline, and alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives while remaining actively involved in development work. Lead and mentor a team of engineers across full-stack initiatives, ensuring clarity in scope, priorities, and delivery outcomes Own sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies to maintain predictable execution and strong delivery cadence Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend and backend systems using React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs Oversee architecture and implementation of data ingestion workflows, integrations, and ETL-style pipelines Drive technical excellence through code reviews, system design, testing practices, and documentation standards Partner closely with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable engineering solutions Manage delivery tracking using tools like Jira and ensure transparency across progress, risks, and dependencies Requirements: You bring strong full-stack engineering expertise combined with proven leadership experience in delivering complex software systems. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, building production-grade applications Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) Proven experience designing and scaling REST and GraphQL APIs in production environments Hands-on experience with data modeling, system architecture, and distributed application design Experience building or supporting data ingestion pipelines, ETL workflows, or data integration systems Prior experience leading engineers in Agile environments with ownership of delivery and team execution Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments with evolving priorities Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD practices Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture and best practices Benefits: Competitive salary aligned with experience and market benchmarks 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (HDHP 4500 plan) Company HSA contribution of $4,400 Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance coverage 401(k) with company matching Flexible PTO and fully remote “work from anywhere within the US” model 100% paid parental leave Post-parental return-to-work support program including a $5,000 stipend and transition period Charitable donation matching program Inclusive, mission-driven engineering culture with high ownership and impact
