- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular) based in Brazil. Join a collaborative, technology-driven environment where you will build and evolve high-quality, scalable full-stack applications. In this senior role, you will combine strong backend expertise in Java with frontend development using Angular to deliver reliable solutions that address complex business needs. You will contribute to technical design decisions, application modernization, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. Working closely with product, design, architecture, and quality teams, you will help ensure performance, maintainability, and sustainable engineering practices. You will also leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and optimize delivery workflows. - Accountabilities Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Angular. Technical Design and Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable, maintainable, and sustainable software solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, architecture, and quality assurance teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and client expectations. Application Performance and Quality: Monitor and improve application performance, stability, reliability, maintainability, and overall code quality. Engineering Best Practices: Apply and promote coding standards, software engineering principles, testing strategies, and sustainable development practices. Database Development: Maintain and enhance data-layer components using SQL Server, including data manipulation and management. AI-Enabled Development: Use artificial intelligence tools to support and optimize different stages of the software development lifecycle, improving efficiency and delivery quality. Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues while considering their broader business and operational impact. Version Control and Agile Delivery: Use Git to manage source code and collaborate effectively within teams following Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile practices. Knowledge Sharing: Share technical expertise, contribute to team learning, and support the professional development of other developers. Requirements Professional Experience: Strong experience in full-stack software development, including the delivery and maintenance of complex applications. Backend Development: Solid proficiency in Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch. Frontend Development: Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend application development. Database Technologies: Experience working with SQL Server, including data manipulation, querying, and database management. Version Control: Practical experience using Git for source control and collaborative development. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective, efficient solutions. Software Engineering Practices: Knowledge of coding standards, software quality principles, maintainable architecture, and sustainable development practices. Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Willingness to explore new technologies, adopt AI-assisted development tools, and continuously improve technical capabilities. Nice to have: Experience maintaining or modernizing legacy applications developed in Visual Basic 6 (VB6). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
