  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager - 2 (Email Domain, Identity & Virtualization SME) in India. This is a senior infrastructure leadership role responsible for architecting and managing enterprise-wide email, identity, and virtualization ecosystems across global environments. You will act as the technical authority for Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, identity and access management, and virtualization platforms spanning VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-native infrastructures. The role combines deep hands-on expertise with strategic leadership to drive modernization, security, and reliability across mission-critical systems. You will lead large-scale transformation initiatives including email migrations, identity federation, and hybrid cloud integration. Working closely with global IT teams and external vendors, you will ensure high availability, compliance, and performance of core infrastructure services. This position also involves governance, automation adoption, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT operations.
  • Accountabilities: Act as subject matter expert for enterprise email systems, Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), SSO, MFA, and Microsoft Exchange environments across hybrid infrastructures. Lead design, implementation, and support of multi-forest Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, DNS, replication, and identity lifecycle management. Manage virtualization and cloud infrastructure across VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Azure, AWS, and GCP environments, ensuring scalability and high availability. Drive email architecture initiatives including migrations, consolidation, security enhancements, and integration with enterprise applications such as HR and ERP systems. Oversee MDM platforms and endpoint management solutions, ensuring secure access and device compliance across the organization. Implement automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and governance frameworks while maintaining robust disaster recovery and SOP documentation. Lead incident, problem, and service management activities under defined SLAs to ensure stable and reliable infrastructure services. Collaborate with global IT teams, vendors, and OEMs while managing project execution, budgeting, and contract negotiations. Mentor and guide junior engineers while contributing to strategic infrastructure planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. 10–12 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, with strong expertise in Active Directory, email systems, identity management, and virtualization technologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange, AD DS, ADFS, MFA, SSO, and hybrid identity architectures. Strong knowledge of VMware (ESXi), Hyper-V, Citrix virtualization, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP. Experience integrating enterprise identity and email systems with business-critical applications such as SAP SuccessFactors and HRMS platforms. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, along with LDAP, Kerberos, and enterprise networking concepts. Strong understanding of email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and enterprise security standards. Proven experience in vendor management, budget planning, contract negotiation, and project delivery in large-scale IT environments. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate in global, cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert, MCSE Messaging, VCP/VCAP, or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP) are highly desirable. Experience in regulated or pharmaceutical environments is an added advantage.
