Job Description
Forbes is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Relations to join the Forbes Creator Network team. Reporting to the VP of Forbes Creator Network, you will drive the growth of our talent recommendation engine and secure compelling creators and hosts to meet our advertiser, content and events strategic needs. You are a critical connector between top-tier talent, industry representation, and premium brand opportunities. You will be deeply embedded in the creator economy – building new talent opportunities from scratch, maintaining and growing our extensive internal roster, and representing the Creator Network on the ground.
Preference will be given to candidates based on the West Coast, with the Los Angeles area preferred. We are also open to remote candidates based in one of the states that we actively recruit from (see below).
Responsibilities:
- Talent Recommendation: Support and optimize our proprietary talent recommendation workflow, strategically identifying the right creators and influential talent for upcoming advertiser, content and live events opportunities.
- Host & Talent Booking: Source, pitch, and secure high-profile hosts and digital creators to align with advertiser needs and premium branded content initiatives.
- Program Development: Build and scale a new creator correspondent program to expand our on-the-ground media presence and event coverage.
- Roster & Library Management: Manage and maintain our comprehensive creator roster, ensuring data, metrics, and talent archetypes are up-to-date for cross-functional pitching.
- Agency & Industry Relations: Nurture and expand ongoing relationships with top talent agencies, management firms, and independent digital creators. This includes attending creator economy meetups and industry events to source fresh talent, discover rising stars, and elevate Forbes in the creator space.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in talent management, talent relations, casting, or within a digital talent agency.
- Location: Open to all eligible remote locations with preference towards Los Angeles, a major West Coast city or New York City.
- Booking Track Record: Proven success booking and negotiating talent for branded content, digital series, advertising campaigns, or hosting roles.
- Industry Rolodex: An existing network of relationships with talent managers, digital agents, publicists, and independent digital creators.
- Data & Organization: Highly organized with experience managing talent databases, roster libraries, or casting decks smoothly under tight deadlines.
- High EQ: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently navigate the unique personalities and needs of high-profile creators and corporate clients.
The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000
Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith. The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate. In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally. This said, we may have to make changes to our compensation estimates and job descriptions from time to time and we expressly reserve the right to do so. Should we make any such changes, this advertisement will be revised to reflect such revisions. We encourage you to occasionally re-visit this advertisement to ensure that you are abreast of any changes. Thank you for your interest in joining Forbes!
