Amazon is seeking a talented and motivated Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design, integrate and launch novel robotics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electromechanical packaging, thermal management, and mechanism design. This candidate must have the ability to work well both independently and in a multidisciplinary team setting. Key job responsibilities - Author functional requirements, design verification plans and test procedures - Execute product designs which meet the requirements - Build and test mechanical subsystem prototypes and integrated systems - Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments - Work efficiently to support rapid schedules
Basic Qualifications
- - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures - 10+ years of experience designing electromechanical enclosures and integrating mechanisms into robotics systems - Expert thermal management of densely packed electromechanical systems - Deep understanding of component capacities and life estimation given highly variable operating trajectories - Hands on experience building prototypes and debugging subsystems
