Role Title: Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III)

Location: Remote (US-based preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Senior NDT Inspectors to support an engineering AI training project. You’ll apply your expertise in non-destructive testing to interpret inspection data, evaluate weld indications, and provide accurate technical assessments. AI experience is not required.

Scope of Work

• Analyze and interpret radiographic images (RT), ultrasonic scans (UT/PAUT), and MT/PT indications.

• Review inspection data for compliance with applicable codes and standards.

• Evaluate weld defects and provide acceptance or disposition recommendations.

• Review thermographic images and remote visual inspection (RVI) footage when required.

• Prepare clear and technically accurate inspection reports.

• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex or ambiguous indications.

• Contribute to improving inspection protocols and project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active ASNT or ISO 9712 Level II/III certification in relevant NDT methods.

• 8+ years of experience interpreting RT, UT/PAUT, MT/PT, and related NDT data.

• Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; and AWS D1.1.

• Experience applying code-based weld acceptance criteria.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Thermography or RVI experience is a plus.
