Job Description
- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Mexico. Take ownership of a strategic product portfolio focused on workforce compliance, employee handbooks, and regulatory learning. In this role, you will help employers navigate complex, evolving labor laws across multiple states and jurisdictions through intelligent, AI-powered product experiences. You will lead product strategy from customer discovery and problem definition through development, launch, and adoption. Working with engineering, design, data science, and compliance experts, you will turn regulatory complexity into practical workflows that help organizations manage policies, training, and employee acknowledgments with confidence. You will also shape how shared intelligence and human expertise work together across direct and partner-distributed platforms. This is an opportunity to influence a growing B2B SaaS portfolio where customer evidence, product quality, and measurable business outcomes drive decisions.
- Accountabilities Own the end-to-end product strategy for employee handbooks, compliance learning, multi-state and jurisdiction management, and onboarding workflows, excluding I-9 and E-Verify. Develop a deep understanding of employers, HR practitioners, brokers, professional employer organizations (PEOs), and other stakeholders, identifying how they manage compliance today and where existing processes fail. Maintain a clear understanding of buyers, users, approvers, and accountable owners across direct sales and partner-distributed channels. Establish measurable product outcomes, including handbook production time, employee acknowledgment rates, mandatory training completion, and compliance workflow effectiveness. Lead continuous customer discovery through regular interviews, customer feedback analysis, and collaboration with internal HR and compliance experts. Translate research into testable assumptions, validate proposed solutions through prototypes and experiments, and prioritize initiatives based on evidence. Shape AI-enabled product experiences that combine employer context, verified labor law content, and expert review to generate accurate handbooks, policy updates, training assignments, and compliance evidence. Define where AI agents can act independently, where human approval is required, and when issues must be escalated to qualified experts. Work with engineering, design, and data science teams to create product requirements, decision documents, prioritized backlogs, and clear delivery plans. Oversee product launches, adoption, performance measurement, and continuous improvement, adjusting priorities when customer evidence or product metrics indicate a need. Coordinate with compliance content teams, HR advisory experts, customer success, partner management, and go-to-market teams to deliver consistent product experiences. Ensure approved policy changes can be distributed to employees and translated into appropriate HR and payroll configuration through controlled, human-reviewed workflows. Help partners demonstrate the value of compliance products through clear usage data, acknowledgment records, and training completion evidence. Maintain alignment between existing customer commitments and future product priorities, communicating risks, trade-offs, and decisions early. Enable sales, support, and implementation teams to understand new capabilities and communicate their value to customers and partners. Requirements: At least 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, including 3 or more years owning a product area end to end, from problem definition through launch, adoption, and iteration. A strong track record of continuous customer discovery, including regular customer interviews, documented research synthesis, and evidence-based roadmap decisions. Experience designing products for at least two distinct stakeholder groups, such as a partner purchasing or distributing a solution and an employer using it. Demonstrated ability to write clear product requirements and decision documents that engineering, design, and subject-matter experts can act on independently. Experience defining, tracking, and communicating product success metrics, with the confidence to revise strategy when the evidence supports a different direction. Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, product design, and data science teams in agile environments. Experience developing AI-assisted or agentic product experiences, including defining appropriate human review and escalation points. Experience working with legal, compliance, clinical, or other subject-matter experts in environments where accuracy and regulatory requirements are critical. Strong analytical thinking, customer empathy, structured problem-solving, and written communication skills. Ability to distinguish validated facts from assumptions, conduct meaningful experiments, and make sound decisions without unnecessary escalation. Comfort operating in a rapidly evolving environment that values ownership, direct feedback, early risk communication, and practical execution. A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Preferred qualifications: Experience in HR technology, compliance technology, regulatory products, or another highly regulated industry. Experience with API-based, embedded, or partner-distributed software products. Familiarity with document generation, policy management, content management, learning management systems, or workflow automation where accuracy and version history are essential. Knowledge of multi-state or multi-jurisdiction employment requirements, or a demonstrated ability to build expertise in complex regulatory domains. Benefits: Annual base salary: The source description lists a US salary range of $130,000–$160,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Compensation details for the Mexico-based location should be confirmed with the hiring team. Health coverage: Health, dental, and vision insurance, subject to applicable employee eligibility and location. Retirement benefits: 401(k) plan with employer matching, as described for eligible US employees. Paid time off: Open paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and four additional paid global wellness days. Insurance protection: Short-term disability, long-term disability, and group life insurance. Family support: Paid parental leave. Additional coverage: Pet insurance and flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options, where applicable. Well-being resources: Access to an Employee Assistance Program. Remote work: A fully remote arrangement is available for US-based employees; arrangements and eligibility for Mexico-based employees should be confirmed. Professional development: Career advancement opportunities, ongoing learning, and access to the LinkedIn Learning platform. Employee recognition: Programs designed to recognize contributions and support professional growth. Inclusive culture: A collaborative, globally distributed environment that values diverse perspectives, continuous learning, autonomy, and meaningful impact.
