This role is a key leadership position within a science-driven medical communications environment, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex healthcare communication programs. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure the successful execution of projects such as advisory boards, content development initiatives, and speaker training programs. The position requires close collaboration with clients, scientific faculty, and internal experts to deliver high-quality, evidence-based deliverables aligned with strategic objectives. You will play a central role in ensuring projects remain on time, on budget, and scientifically rigorous while maintaining strong client relationships. - Accountabilities: Lead and manage medical communications projects from initiation through completion, including content development, advisory boards, and training programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, faculty members, and internal stakeholders. Ensure consistent, clear communication across all project phases and maintain alignment with client expectations. Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting, monitoring, and financial reconciliation. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery. Oversee project timelines, scheduling, and execution of all deliverables and milestones. Manage external vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Facilitate meetings, progress updates, and status reporting for internal and client stakeholders. Support faculty recruitment, engagement, and ongoing communication throughout project lifecycles. Contribute to business development efforts and support proposal development within account teams. Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and industry regulations. Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, communications, or related field. 5–7 years of experience in project management within a medical communications or healthcare agency environment. Strong ability to understand and retain scientific and medical information. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strong financial oversight responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment.
