Your Responsibilities
- SEO & GEO Strategy. Develop an annual growth plan: content, intent prioritization, resources (in-house / contractors).
- Modernize Analytics Systems. Enhance our GSC and GA4 dashboards; establish an initial set of essential reports and alerts.
- Ensure Proper Indexing, Clear Information Architecture, Correct Structured Data (Organization/Product/HowTo/FAQ/Review), and strong Core Web Vitals.
- Keyword Clustering & Content Production. Structure keyword clusters, write clear briefs for writers/designers, manage regular publishing and updates, and implement internal linking. (Goal: Scalability and repeatability; finalize "template page" types after the audit.)
- Link-Earning & E-E-A-T. Develop a strategy for acquiring quality backlinks and authority signals; collaborate with the brand team on digital PR and thought leadership.
- GEO / Answer Engine Optimization. Secure presence and citations for JobHire.AI in AI-powered search answers (AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity, etc.) for high-intent topics; connect GEO signals to organic contribution.
- Processes & Delivery. Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to implement SEO changes into production.
How We Measure Impact
Time Horizon Metric Goals
Month 1 Technical SEO Readiness Indexing and basic templates live (TBC)
Month 2 Sessions (Traffic) ≥ 6,000 organic sessions/month
Month 3 Conversions (from Organic) ≥ 450 new subscriptions/month
Month 6 Conversions (from Organic) ≥ 900 new subscriptions/month; Organic CAC lower than Paid CAC
- Exact targets and methodology will be agreed upon with the Lead at the start of each 2-month OKR cycle.*
We keep our hiring process quick and simple:
- HR Introduction Call
- Team Interviews
- Product challenge
- Reference Check (with three prior managers)
- 5+ years of building and executing SEO roadmaps for Western markets (USA, UK, EU).
- Proven track record of growing projects from 0 → 10k+ Monthly Active Users; portfolio of domains built from scratch or successfully relaunched after migrations.
- Excellent command of GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer/Frase or equivalents.
- Deep understanding of ranking factors and how to prioritize them for business goals (on-page, technical, off-page, architecture, E-E-A-T, behavioral/freshness).
- Experience with AI search layers (AI Overviews/Chat answers): securing presence and citations for content, and knowing how to measure it.
- Experience in building end-to-end analytics and attributing organic traffic to business outcomes.
- A drive for experimentation, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to comfortably collaborate ("spar") with engineers, editors, and the brand team.
- English and Russian
