They are now seeking to hire a Shopify Coordinator to manage the accurate and timely upload of products into our e-commerce platform. This role is critical in ensuring product listings are consistent, well-presented, and aligned with brand standards.
Job/Role Responsibilities
Product Upload & Management
- Upload new products into Shopify using supplier-provided data
- Source product descriptions, specifications, and images when needed
- Write or refine product descriptions to align with brand tone
- Resize and format product images for website use
- Assign correct pricing, SKUs, barcodes, tags, and collections
Listing Accuracy & Optimisation
- Review all listings for accuracy before publishing
- Maintain consistency across product pages
- Apply SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, keywords)
- Manage product categories, filters, and navigation
Ongoing Maintenance
- Update existing listings (pricing, images, discontinued items)
- Ensure data consistency across systems (Shopify and POS if applicable)
- Liaise with suppliers to clarify missing or incorrect information
- High volume of accurate product uploads weekly
- Minimal errors in pricing, SKUs, and descriptions
- Fast turnaround from data receipt to product going live
- Consistent brand tone and formatting across listings
- SEO fields completed correctly
- Minimal rework required
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Shopify product uploads (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written English skills
- Ability to follow brand guidelines
- Basic image editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce or retail
- Experience managing large product catalogues
- Basic understanding of SEO
