Job Description

Clearwater positions open to candidates located in greater Tampa Bay area.

The Senior Director of HR (Americas) is a dual-function executive leader responsible for the strategic HR partnership of global business functions and the regional operational excellence for the Americas. As one of three regional HR heads, this role ensures a unified global HR strategy while maintaining regional agility. This role will drive organizational health for the Customer Success and Corporate Functions organizations while leading the Employee Relations and HR Operations teams for the Americas.

Responsibilities:

Global HR Collaboration & Peer Partnership

  • Regional Triumvirate: Partner closely with the Regional HR Leaders for EMEA and APJ to ensure global alignment of HR strategies, sharing best practices to maintain the "80% global / 20% local" operational standard.
  • COE Integration: Act as the bridge between the business and the Centers of Excellence:
    • Talent Acquisition (TA): Collaborate on strategic workforce planning and high-impact leadership hiring.
    • Talent Management (TM): Partner on global performance cycles, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
    • Total Rewards: Work with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure regional competitiveness and facilitate scalable pay strategies.
  • HRBP Community: Collaborate with functional HRBPs across other regions to ensure a consistent "Employee Experience" for global teams (e.g., ensuring a CS employee in London has a similar experience to one in Tampa).
  • Data Driven: Utilizes data-driven insights to evaluate functional effectiveness, quantify ROI, and guide strategic planning, ensuring decisions are grounded in measurable outcomes and performance metrics.

Regional Leadership & Management (Americas)

  • Regional Oversight: Serve as the "Face of HR" for the Americas, ensuring legal compliance and cultural health across the US and Brazil.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, including the HR Manager (Brazil), the Employee Relations team, and the HR Operations & Compliance team.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the "outside-in" re-imagining of HR services, leveraging Workday and ServiceNow to automate workflows and improve regional UX.

Strategic HR Business Partnership (Functional)

  • Customer Success (CS): Personally provide high-level HRBP support to the CS organization, advising senior leaders on org design, talent health, and change management.
  • Corporate Functions: Oversee the HRBP supporting IT, InfoSec, Legal, HR, and Finance, ensuring these critical "backbone" functions have strategic talent support.
  • Performance Culture: Partner with Employee Relations to coach managers on proactive performance management and complex conflict resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or Finance (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with specific expertise in leading HRBP teams and HR Operations.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven track record in managing HR for the Americas.
  • Matrix Navigating: Exceptional ability to collaborate across different time zones and functional departments (COEs and Regional Peers).
  • Strategic Advisory: Ability to move between high-level organizational strategy and "on-the-ground" operational problem-solving.
  • Communication: Diplomatic and persuasive communication style; ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and international peers.
  • Systems Fluency: Deep familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow and the company’s tech stack.

The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000 - $200,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.

Application deadline: 10/8/2026.  This is our good-faith estimate of the date the application window is anticipated to close. KnowBe4 reviews applications on a rolling basis and reserves the right to close the application window early if a qualified candidate for the position is identified.
