This team's mission: apply innovative technology to accelerate that growth through world-class software engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence. As part of the Sales Assistant team, you'll build gen AI applications, autonomous agents, customer-focused UX, workflows, and web services that make Amazon Ads' global sales teams dramatically more effective. You'll turn massive data sets and disparate systems into insight-driven products that help sales teams serve some of the world's best-known brands — as well as small businesses selling on Amazon. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has built **scalable production gen AI applications** and tackled real-world challenges like accuracy, hallucinations, context limits, and agentic orchestration. Key job responsibilities - Partner closely with design and product teams to understand customer needs, propose features, build rapid prototypes, and transform them into compelling, production-ready experiences. - Drive innovation by introducing tools, frameworks, automations, and processes that elevate the entire team's development velocity. - Write clean, maintainable code and uphold engineering quality through thoughtful peer code reviews. - Deep-dive into client and server systems to optimize for performance, scalability, and extensibility. - Mentor team members and champion engineering excellence across the org. Basic Qualifications

• - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
