Our products enable yard and gate operations at more than 6K onsite and offsite Amazon yards worldwide including FCs, IXDs, SCs, DS, Air Gateways, Offsites and AMZL. During 2022, Amazon associates performed 90MM check-ins and check-outs, including 6.3MM of remote and automated gate transactions in NA, and completed 49MM trailer moves in the yard. Our vision is an autonomous yard. In an autonomous yard we will: 1) delight our drivers with an intuitive and automated check-in/check-out experience as soon as they arrive, 2) keep our drivers alert and safe through a guided experience in the yard, 3) use autonomous vehicles to perform in-yard movements to keep our associates safe, and 4) consistently maintain an accurate state of the yard to help other Amazon systems make smart decisions. We measure our success through reduced yard cycle time and dwell time, improved automation, reduced safety incidents and enhanced driver and associate experience.
