Accellor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI to build production-grade AI solutions for a leading global media and entertainment organization.

You’ll work on AI initiatives across areas such as Studio Operations, Rights Management, and Finance, taking solutions from concept through production. This is a hands-on engineering role combining strong Python and Azure development with practical experience building LLM and RAG-powered applications.

  • Design, build, and deploy production AI applications using Python and Azure.
  • Build LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering, model integrations, tool calling, and AI workflows.
  • Design and implement RAG solutions using embeddings, vector search, retrieval, knowledge grounding, and evaluation.
  • Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms, external APIs, databases, and Microsoft 365.
  • Build scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and application integrations.
  • Develop agentic AI workflows using tools such as MCP and multi-agent patterns where appropriate.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into production solutions.
  • Apply strong engineering practices around testing, security, observability, scalability, and performance.

  • 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
  • Strong Python development experience with backend and/or full-stack applications.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure-native services and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience building production applications using LLMs, including prompt engineering and model integration.
  • Hands-on RAG experience, including vector search, retrieval patterns, knowledge grounding, and evaluation.
  • Experience integrating external APIs, enterprise platforms, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Strong database and SQL experience.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, application architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Ability to take ambiguous business problems from concept through production deployment.
  • Remote within the United States, with the ability to maintain meaningful overlap with Pacific Time working hours. Occasional travel may be required based on client needs.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or Azure AI Foundry.
  • Experience with MCP, tool integrations, agentic workflows, or multi-agent architectures.
  • Experience with vector databases and enterprise search.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment.
  • Experience in consulting, media and entertainment, or other complex enterprise environments.
