Our partner is looking for a Sr. GIS Solution Engineer - Public Safety based in the United States.   • Accountabilities Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting advanced GIS solutions throughout the sales and solution delivery process. Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert in GIS technologies and public safety, guiding customers through complex technical and business challenges. Design scalable solution architectures that align GIS capabilities with organizational objectives, operational workflows, and long-term technology strategies. Analyze customer environments to identify opportunities for GIS integration, optimization, and digital transformation. Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops for both executive and technical audiences. Provide best-practice guidance on GIS deployment, system architecture, configuration, and integration with enterprise platforms. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to GIS applications, infrastructure, databases, cloud environments, and enterprise deployments. Mentor team members by sharing technical expertise, solution design best practices, and industry knowledge. Represent the organization at conferences, executive briefings, and customer engagements while supporting strategic business development initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with GIS technologies, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration. At least 3 years of experience supporting public safety organizations or related mission-critical environments. Strong knowledge of enterprise GIS architecture, including ArcGIS, geodatabases, web services, networking, security, virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms. Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud computing environments. Proven expertise in technical consulting, solution architecture, and customer-facing engagements. Experience integrating GIS platforms with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, business intelligence, analytics, and data warehousing solutions. Programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies. Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–50% as required. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance. A Master's degree, experience with real-time GIS, IoT, AI/ML, advanced analytics, or imagery technologies is considered an asset.
