- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Product Manager based in the United States. This role is a high-impact opportunity for a product leader to define and execute a modern payments strategy at scale within a fast-growing, data-intensive platform. You will own the end-to-end roadmap for payment optimization, driving improvements across transaction economics, vendor performance, and regulatory alignment. The role blends fintech product leadership with deep analytical thinking, focusing on optimizing large-scale payment flows and infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, compliance, and external partners to build a best-in-class payments ecosystem. This is a highly strategic position where your decisions directly influence cost efficiency, reliability, and financial performance. - Accountabilities: Define and own the multi-quarter product roadmap for payments strategy, balancing optimization, innovation, and scalability Track and improve key payment performance metrics such as transaction costs, settlement speed, card mix, and routing efficiency Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve payment economics through optimization levers and system enhancements Evaluate and integrate emerging payment technologies and innovations into the long-term product vision Manage relationships with payment providers and vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and strong commercial outcomes Partner closely with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and regulation-aligned payment systems Translate complex financial, technical, and regulatory requirements into clear product execution plans Drive cross-functional alignment across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of payment initiatives Requirements: 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3+ years in fintech, payments, or financial services Strong understanding of payment rails including ACH, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, and card networks Solid knowledge of interchange economics and payment optimization strategies Proven experience building and executing multi-quarter product roadmaps in complex environments Familiarity with payments regulatory frameworks, including compliance and payment facilitation models Experience managing vendors, PSPs, and external technology partners Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to present data-driven insights clearly Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional technical teams Benefits: Remote-first work environment across the United States Flexible PTO with no fixed accrual limits Paid holidays and additional personal time off options Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with high employer contribution Paid parental leave and caregiver support programs Retirement savings plan with employer matching Professional development support and learning opportunities Paid volunteer time and additional community engagement days Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on sustainability and impact Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and location
