Leveraging state-of-the-art Large Language Models and generative AI, we're creating a live, two-way natural language conversational shopping and search experiences that are fast, helpful and trustworthy. We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with deep frontend expertise to design and deliver the experiences powering conversational AI shopping. You'll work alongside talented scientists, engineers, designers, and product leaders to turn ambitious ideas into customer-facing reality at Amazon scale.
Basic Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Experience with front-end software development - Experience with programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java or equivalent - Knowledge of general AI tools - Knowledge of AI native software development tools and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence - Master's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
