- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Territory Manager, Eyecare based in India. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to lead territory growth within the eyecare and pharmaceutical sector. In this customer-facing role, you will develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, execute strategic sales plans, and drive commercial success across your assigned region. You will combine scientific knowledge with consultative selling techniques to deliver value-based solutions while supporting brand growth and market expansion. Working in a collaborative and performance-focused environment, you will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, sharing customer insights, and contributing to long-term business success.
- Accountabilities: Achieve and exceed territory sales targets, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and commercial performance goals. Develop and execute structured call plans, including pre-call preparation, customer engagement, and post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales effectiveness. Build trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and delivering customer-focused solutions. Conduct high-quality sales calls, effectively address objections, and secure clear commitments that drive positive customer outcomes. Analyze territory trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and optimize territory performance. Share market intelligence and customer insights with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and successful brand execution. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, disease state experts, and clinical advocates to strengthen market presence and brand awareness. Collaborate effectively across commercial and cross-functional teams to support business objectives within a matrix organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification. Proven success in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical sales, preferably within eyecare or related therapeutic areas. Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. In-depth understanding of therapeutic products, disease areas, competitive landscape, and customer engagement strategies. Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to interpret market trends and develop territory growth strategies. Experience using structured sales planning, consultative selling techniques, and customer-focused approaches to achieve business objectives. Ability to adapt communication and selling style based on customer needs while working effectively within a matrix organization. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in business tools and CRM systems. English language proficiency, both written and verbal, is preferred.
