This role sits at the core of a mission-driven effort to expand access to affordable mental healthcare by strengthening the provider ecosystem behind it. As a Staff Researcher focused on Provider Growth, you will lead high-impact mixed-methods research to shape how providers are attracted, onboarded, and activated within a fast-scaling national platform. Your work will directly influence product strategy, marketing direction, and growth initiatives that support tens of thousands of therapists across the country. You will translate complex behavioral and market data into clear, actionable insights that guide executive decision-making. Operating with high autonomy, you will act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership, including executive-level stakeholders. This is a highly visible role where research directly drives growth, product innovation, and improved access to care for millions of patients.
  • Accountabilities: In this role, you will lead end-to-end research initiatives that shape provider growth strategy, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights about provider behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle dynamics. You will translate findings into clear recommendations that influence product development, marketing strategy, and business prioritization. Your work will help define how providers are acquired, activated, and retained at scale. Lead full-cycle research projects, including problem framing, study design, execution, synthesis, and presentation of actionable insights Apply mixed-methods research (surveys, behavioral analytics, A/B testing, interviews, ethnography, concept testing) to understand provider acquisition, conversion, and retention Identify, size, and prioritize growth opportunities based on provider behavior, market dynamics, and competitive insights Partner with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to define problem spaces and inform roadmap decisions for provider growth initiatives Develop deep segmentation insights across provider types (e.g., new vs. experienced providers, solo vs. group practices, therapists vs. prescribers) Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including executive stakeholders Mentor and guide junior researchers while helping scale a strong research practice and culture across the organization Requirements: This position requires strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, combined with the ability to connect insights directly to business growth outcomes. You should be highly analytical, comfortable working in fast-paced environments, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders through clear storytelling and evidence-based recommendations.
