Job Description
Appfire is seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive and scale joint initiatives between Appfire and Atlassian. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, partnerships, and go-to-market. The TPM will lead cross-company programs that align roadmaps, accelerate platform adoption, support cloud transformation, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives across both organizations. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, partnership-savvy, and experienced in leading complex, cross-functional programs across company boundaries.
Appfire’s partnership with Atlassian is strategic to our growth. This role ensures that we are not just reacting to platform changes—but proactively shaping and executing joint initiatives that drive long-term success for both companies and our shared customers.
What You Will Do:
- Drive end-to-end execution of joint Appfire–Atlassian initiatives (e.g., platform migrations, Cloud readiness, product integrations, marketplace programs, co-innovation efforts).
- Translate strategic partnership goals into structured program plans with measurable outcomes.
- Align technical roadmaps and priorities across Appfire product teams and Atlassian stakeholders.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across organizations and proactively mitigate them.
- Serve as the central point of coordination among Appfire Product and Engineering, Atlassian Product and Ecosystem teams, Appfire Partner Management, and Appfire Marketing & GTM teams
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment with Atlassian platform standards and APIs.
- Monitor platform changes and ensure Appfire teams are prepared for upcoming Atlassian roadmap shifts.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, or Engineering Program Management
- Strong technical fluency (APIs, integrations, cloud architecture, platform ecosystems)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and execution skills
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Experience with the Atlassian ecosystem (preferred)
