Job Description
Technical Project Manager III
itD is seeking a Technical Project Manager III to lead and coordinate complex AI-driven technology initiatives supporting speech and voice AI development for next-generation wearable devices. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in technical project management and AI software development environments, with a proven track record of driving cross-functional programs, aligning engineering teams, and delivering projects in fast-paced, innovation-focused organizations.
Location: Remote within the U.S. (Contractors may be required to transition onsite if office locations reopen.)

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects focused on speech and voice AI technologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
- Review project plans, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to keep initiatives on track.
- Partner with engineering leaders, product teams, vendors, and stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate status updates, and drive decision-making across multiple teams.
- Support system planning, user support processes, backup strategies, and security-related coordination activities.
- Provide technical guidance and project coordination in AI software development environments while maintaining organized project documentation and confidential information.
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing complex technical projects in software development environments.
- Background in Speech AI software development, including model training, testing, or quality assurance.
- Experience coordinating large cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Experience leading stakeholder meetings and driving project execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of software development technologies such as Java, SQL, or Visual Basic.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another Engineering discipline.
- Experience working with AI engineering teams.
- Experience supporting AI initiatives within leading technology companies or high-growth startups.
- Familiarity with speech AI, voice AI, or wearable technology development.
- Experience delivering projects in highly innovative, fast-paced product environments.
Education
