  • Kforce financial client is seeking a Vendor Management Assistant for a remote role. Summary: As a Vendor Management Assistant, you must possess a working knowledge of banking regulations and third-party risk management requirements applicable to OCC-regulated financial institutions. The company has a vendor management policy that was recently reviewed by the compliance team. During this review, various items were identified that need to be addressed by various due dates. The purpose of this role is to review the current policy/procedures, review the compliance report, and complete the items that were discovered.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • Degree preferred, but not mandatory
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking, vendor management, compliance, procurement, risk management, operations, or administrative support preferred
  • Understanding OCC Third-Party Risk Management Guidance and the third-party lifecycle management process
  • Knowledge of risk-based vendor monitoring principles
  • Familiarity with FFIEC guidance related to vendor management and information technology risk
  • Understanding customer information protection requirements under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
  • Awareness of applicable privacy, confidentiality, and information security requirements
  • Knowledge of vendor due diligence requirements and supporting documentation
  • Understanding vendor risk classifications, critical vendor identification, and risk-tiering methodologies
  • Ability to identify documentation gaps, policy exceptions, and compliance concerns and escalate appropriately
  • Experience in a regulated financial institution is preferred
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or compliance programs is desirable
  • Technical writing experience
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Strong document management and reporting capabilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to identify issues and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Experience with using NVendor is a huge plus
  • OCC Bulletin 2023-17, Third-Party Risk Management experience
  • FFIEC Information Technology Examination Handbook experience
  • Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) experience
  • Third-Party Risk Management and Vendor Governance Best Practices experience
