The Videographer & Motion Designer is a dual-threat creative role within the Brand Team of the Marketing Department. This position is responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality video content and dynamic motion graphics. The ideal candidate will translate brand strategies into compelling visual stories, collaborating closely with creative leadership from concept through final delivery.
Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Collaboration
- Proactively pitch specific, actionable video execution concepts to achieve marketing goals
- Partner with the Creative Director to review, refine, and provide feedback on scripts and storyboards
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and marketers to ensure videos align with broader campaign objectives
- Work cross-collaboratively to plan and develop executive level videos for social and other PR platforms as needed
- Develop a clear understanding of our product suite to enable execution of high-quality product centric videos
- Create videos to support our daily all-company meetings
- Coordinate with agencies as needed
Production & Editing
- Own the end-to-end editing process for short-form and mid-form marketing videos
- Collaborate, plan, compose and deliver daily video introductions for our corporate daily briefing calls
- Design, animate, and integrate high-quality motion graphics, kinetic typography, and lower thirds
- Plan for and establish a library of footage b-roll and other for future editing needs
- Be AI-forward in the function
Localization & Asset Management
- Build, format, and export alternative versions of video assets for multi-language markets
- Implement translated voiceovers, subtitles, and localized text graphics in partnership with our Localization team as needed
Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Establish and enforce standard file-naming conventions and folder structures
- Maintain, back up, and organize the brand's master digital media library and raw footage archives
- Manage user permissions, metadata tagging, and archiving to ensure the broader team can easily locate assets
Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets strictly adhere to corporate brand guidelines, color palettes, and tone of voice.
- Platform Optimization: Tailor video aspect ratios, pacing, and export settings specifically for diverse channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or website landing pages)
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on social media video trends, emerging editing techniques, and AI video tools to keep our content competitive
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film + television production, or a related technology field
- 10+ years of experience as a: videographer, video editor, or multimedia producer
- Expert proficiency with video editing software, preferably Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating live-action editing, motion graphics proficiency, and clean typography
- Exceptional organizational skills with proven experience managing server-based asset libraries
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining highly receptive to creative direction and feedback
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Advanced project management skills are essential
- Advanced understanding of video editing, composing, proofing and client review processes
- Technical expertise of production mechanics, post-production software fluency and equipment management
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
