Job Description

We are seeking skilled Chinese Voice Coaches to contribute to an AI training and evaluation project focused on Chinese speech quality, pronunciation, and linguistic authenticity.

In this role, you will evaluate Chinese audio samples, assess pronunciation and fluency, and provide detailed feedback to help improve next-generation AI systems. You will apply your language expertise to identify subtle differences in speech patterns, intonation, and natural delivery.

No prior AI experience is required. Your language and voice expertise are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Chinese audio clips and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of speakers or AI-generated speech.

• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.

• Provide clear, concise written feedback in English, highlighting key linguistic factors.

• Document detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.

• Provide insights to improve AI model performance in Chinese language understanding and speech generation.

• Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese, with strong command of spoken and written language.

• Minimum B2-level English proficiency, particularly for written and verbal communication.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and explain subtle linguistic differences.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Access to a quiet working environment and reliable internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in voice specialization, Linguistics, Phonetics, Music/Audio Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment.

• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching.

• Ability to evaluate speech quality, pronunciation, and natural language delivery.
