Job Description
As a Senior Product Designer at Bridgit, you’re a builder first. You’ll work alongside product and engineering from the first conversation, shaping the problem, the solution, and what ships. You’ll go from idea to working prototype quickly and test as you go.
- Own end-to-end design for one or more product areas, from problem framing and discovery through shipped UI and post-launch iteration
- Work AI-first, every day: use AI tools across your whole workflow: synthesizing research and customer calls, exploring concepts, generating working prototypes, testing ideas with real data and so much more
- Evolve how we design: lead the shift to an AI-native design process for the team. Find where AI removes busywork, speeds up discovery, and lets us test more ideas, then make those practices stick
- Lead the change of our design practice: shape how we run discovery, critique, research, and handoff and grow our design system into a foundation that scales with the product and accelerates the whole team
- Build and ship: createworking prototypes and contribute directly to front-end code when it speeds things up. Close the gap between idea and production
- Step into product and engineering: Shape strategy and roadmap decisions, weigh technical tradeoffs with engineers, and bring a point of view on what we should build, how, and why
- Stay close to customers: lead interviews, site visits, usability tests, and workflow mapping to deeply understand how operations leaders plan and make decisions
- Measure and iterate: use product analytics and customer feedback to validate decisions, find friction, and iterate on the solutions you help build
Who you are
- 5+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of shipping complex products alongside engineers and product managers
- A portfolio that shows depth and ownership, with clear examples of problem framing, research, design rationale, and measurable outcomes, not just polished screens
- AI is already part of how you work: you use tools like Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, v0, or similar every day, and you can show how they’ve changed your process, speed, and output. You’re always looking for the next tool or technique that makes you better
- A product builder mindset: you’re comfortable prototyping in AI coding tools and naturally think about feasibility, data, and business impact alongside the user experience
- Fluent in complex, data-heavy domains: you know how to bring structure and clarity to information-dense workflows
- A systems thinker who sees how individual decisions ripple across flows, edge cases, and the broader product
- Low ego, high standards: you share work early, welcome critique, and treat iteration as the job
- A clear communicator who can articulate design rationale to engineers, PMs, executives, and customers
- Energized by ambiguity: you thrive where priorities shift and the problem doesn’t come with a brief
Bonus points if you have: experience in construction, workforce management, complex operational systems, or HR tech; a history of building or scaling a design system; or experience establishing design practices at a growing company.
What you need to succeed
- Self-driven commitment to keep learning as our product and customer needs evolves quickly
- Creative problem solving skills resulting in practical and innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills, explaining technical solutions to a non-technical stakeholder
- A curious mindset and agile approach, able to adapt in a dynamic environment
